Rumor had it this would be the easiest 3 credits toward my MBA. While it would be the quickest, I wouldn't say it was the easiest - but so far, the most intensely rewarding. I joined a group of 35 graduate, undergraduate and NSU staff for a week-long, condensed course to study the business and culture of Jamaica, Cayman, and Cuba. Our coursework included reading and book reviews, an in depth presentation on a specific topic for one of the countries, site visits, meetings and research with entrepreneurs and academic leaders. In the following blog, I'll share highlights from the trip. If you have the opportunity to go, take it- it is far more rewarding in ways beyond the course goals. - Diane Schultz
